Book Design and Formatting: Print and E-books

As a book designer, my goal is to aid and enhance the reading process, not to draw attention to my designs. That said, I’m always looking for creative ways to bring new books to life.

I’ve been designing and typesetting books for over 30 years, learning most of what I know about great book design and layout from freelancing for publishers, including Addison-Wesley, Jossey-Bass, and Rowman & Littlefield and many self-publishing authors.

I design and format print books and e-books on a wide range of fiction and nonfiction topics for publishers and self-publishing authors.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss the details of your book.

After all of these years designing and typesetting books for other authors, I’ve written my own book that is now available on Amazon.

The book is titled Staying Freelance and is about the many things I did and experienced to establish and maintain my freelance business over the course of 30-plus years.

I wrote Staying Freelance to inspire and advise fellow freelancers on how to build and maintain their careers for the long-term. My goal is to show people how to “stay” freelance not just “go” freelance.

Staying Freelance is available on Amazon.
